Baccarat is one of the easiest casino games to learn — there are only three main bet types you need to understand.
If you've ever walked the floors of Genting Highlands Casino or followed the chatter in Malaysian gaming groups, one name comes up more than any other – baccarat. This card game has long been a firm favourite among Asian players, and Malaysia is no exception. Now, with platforms like Rollbit, that same experience is available from home, on your phone, or anywhere you have an internet connection.
Rollbit takes Live Casino baccarat to a level beyond most platforms available in Malaysia today. Rather than offering just one or two standard tables, Rollbit has built a complete baccarat ecosystem with six distinct variants, each designed for a different type of player. Whether you're a newcomer trying baccarat for the very first time or a seasoned player who's comfortable at high-stakes VIP tables, Rollbit has a table that fits.
One thing that truly sets baccarat at Rollbit apart from other platforms is the quality of its video stream. Rollbit uses video streaming technology specifically optimised for Malaysian internet connections — including 4G LTE and Unifi WiFi — so you can watch every dealer movement in sharp detail without frustrating lag. This matters in baccarat because every second counts, especially in Speed Baccarat where each round completes in just 27 seconds.
Another feature frequently praised by Malaysian players is the exclusive Baccarat Malaysia table at Rollbit — a table hosted by dealers who speak Bahasa Melayu. For many local players, this goes beyond mere communication convenience; it makes the entire playing experience feel warmer, more comfortable, and more like being at a local casino.

Many Malaysian players who have never tried baccarat assume it's complicated or requires complex strategy. In reality, it's one of the simplest casino games around — easier than blackjack and far easier than poker. You simply choose between three options, cards are dealt according to fixed rules, and no decisions are required from you once the round is underway.
A baccarat round begins when players place their bets – either on Banker, Player, or Tie. Once all bets are accepted, the dealer deals two cards to the Banker and two cards to the Player. Card values are calculated in a unique way: number cards (2–9) count at face value, while face cards (J, Q, K) and 10s are worth zero, and Aces are worth one. If the total value of the cards exceeds 9, only the last digit counts – for example, a 7 and an 8 add up to 15, but the actual baccarat value is 5.
A third card may be dealt to either Player or Banker according to fixed rules — this happens automatically and requires no decision from you. Whichever side is closest to 9 wins. It's that simple. At Rollbit, all these rules are displayed clearly within the game interface so new players never feel lost.
In terms of strategy, many experienced Rollbit players advocate consistently betting on the Banker, as it carries the highest RTP at 98.94% (after commission deductions). While the 5% commission might look like a drawback at first glance, it still delivers better value than most other baccarat betting options. If you'd rather avoid commission altogether, Baccarat No Commission or Baccarat Super 6 on Rollbit are both worth considering.
Baccarat is a game of chance, but there are a few approaches that can help you play smarter.
A common question among Malaysian players trying online baccarat for the first time is – is it the same as baccarat at a physical casino? The short answer is: very close, and in some ways, it's actually better.
At physical casinos like those in Genting Highlands, you may find yourself waiting a long time for a seat at a popular baccarat table — especially on weekends or public holidays. At Rollbit, that problem simply doesn't exist. The Baccarat Infinity table can accommodate thousands of players simultaneously with no seat limit, and other tables almost always have spots available or can be switched to within seconds.
As for the gameplay experience itself, Live Baccarat at Rollbit uses certified automatically shuffled real cards, professionally trained and licensed human dealers, and tables built to international casino standards. High-definition cameras capture every angle of the table, and cards are dealt live right in front of you via real-time video streaming. This is not a computer simulation – it is a real game happening live.
Rollbit also lets players interact with dealers through a live chat window at every table. You can type messages to the dealer, ask questions, or simply have a chat – this social element makes Live Baccarat at Rollbit far more engaging than playing an RNG game on your own. The experience closely mirrors sitting at a real baccarat table, complete with genuine human interaction.
Among all the baccarat variants available at Rollbit, Baccarat Squeeze offers the most distinctive playing experience. In this variant, the player who places the largest bet in a given round is given control to slowly reveal the cards — and the entire process is broadcast live to everyone at the table through high-definition cameras.
The card-reveal moment in Baccarat Squeeze is among the most electrifying in live casino gaming. Imagine placing a big bet on Banker, and the third card that decides your win is being slowly peeled open by another player controlling the round. Every millimetre of card exposed builds a tension that's hard to put into words — and that's exactly what makes Baccarat Squeeze so popular among experienced players at Rollbit.
Besides Squeeze, Baccarat Super 6 is another variant that has caught the attention of many Rollbit players. In Super 6, no commission is charged on Banker wins – except when the Banker wins with a value of 6, in which case half your winnings are deducted. To compensate, a special Super 6 side bet is available, paying 12:1 when the Banker wins with exactly 6. This adds an interesting strategic layer to the standard baccarat experience.
